You MUST download the right patch for your game for it to work correctly:Д®MEA DVD: This patch is for the retail boxed version bought in Europe, Middle East or Asia.Д®MEA Download: This patch is for the downloaded version for European, Middle Eastern or Asian users. This is just a typing error from when the devs made the patch - it really is version 1.4b! You can check this on SH3's main menu screen after applying the patch - it should say 1.4b in the lower-right corner of the screen.

NOTE - there is a small error in the 1.4b patch - the installer windows says the patch is version 1.3.

Patch 1.4b can be installed directly over the stock game - you do NOT need any previous patches to install 1.4b patch! You must install the patch before you install any mods. If you do need to patch your game, the latest (and final) patch is 1.4b, which you can download here. If it's not version 1.4b, download and install the correct patch (see below).

If it's patched to 1.4b you should see this: In that folder, locate 'SH3.exe', right click on it, select 'Properties', then switch to the 'Version' tab. 'C' drive > Program Files > Ubisoft > SilentHunterIII
